Dear R*X members!

I know this is a very old topic, but I think we reached a level, which will cause problems for our beloved server. Of course it is Adrenaline and Flamethrower. I can not count on my fingers how many times a day do people ask r*x members to remove adrenaline and flamethrower. My personal opinion is that it can make a game very boring and fast. There are some players (I wouldn't point out anybody) use this stuff all the time, and it really annoys players. We got to a point where people go AFK till they stop using these, or they leave the server. I know this is a hard suggestion, and even harder to win your votes with this but I dont think the server can afford to lose players because of 2 weapons which are annoying AF. Im well aware, some of you will speak about this negatively, because lots of us (including me) like/liked using these stuff.

I'm not gonna say anything useful for this discussion but in case flamethrower stays:

It's usually not a good idea to run away from flamer. It's often better to run towards it, commit a suicide but hopefully take the flamer with you (if you're a medic you can probably even survive).
For some reason flamethrower deals a lot damage at semi-close distance and at the point blank range it doesn't do that much. Plus the closer you are the easier it should be to aim for the head :).

Also if flamer camps at your spawn you don't have to shoot it - if you do you lose your 3s spawn shield and probably block your teammates.

On the one hand I see the problem, but on the other hand it's part of the game. I'm not sure if our server has standard flame settings? I do feel it's damage output is somewhat high. If we decide to keep flame as it is, panzer should be unlocked as well :ph34r: . Also part of the game.

I think no one is saying disable flame, since I've played on the server the last few weeks, the problems I think most complain about is flame+adren. This obviously shoots the flamer power way up as they are harder to kill and inflict far more damage. It's difficult to defend some maps with enclosed objectives when the flamer simply shoots up, runs wildly in and kills all the defenders. I do see maps end quickly because of it, I do see complaints and I do see people either go spec or leave because of it. On the other hand, I think the argument would be sometimes axis might be stacked and flamer might be the only thing to save you and achieve and objective(this can also occur when axis are rolling and flamer helps to defend). To that I would simply say, if teams are THAT bad, you have admin...fix teams...There was a time, a long time ago, when it was quite frowned upon for any Rox member to use adren, it was there for the pub nubs. Changing settings on a server at this point is a difficult decision, changing this one would probably result in a somewhat dramatic change in game play. You have a space here to debate and discuss the merits.

just use a knife or push them away.

all flamers r crap with no skills except draza so change ur moves = problem solved

How about adren? Hmm, usually people use adren and rush maps fast..
This fuck the games..

Well, adren should be disabled or low limit like 1-2 for player.

I think everything in game is okay at the moment, i wouldn't bother changing anything as i feel that these things are the reasons why people play on our server, removing adre or flame would totally be a bad idea.

we have times when the teams are stacked and adrenaline + flame is the only solution for either teams to rush and win the map, and i fear if we take the risk of disabling and removing these things it can effect our server, sorry but for me its a no, how ever i appreciate you making this topic and i expect people to share their ideas/views without any hesitations.
