Dueling Contest?

Hey guys,

I was just thinking about how some people on the server asked me to duel them a couple of times. That made me think about the good old TSF (my ex clan) times, and how we used to held in house dueling contests. I thought this might be a cool idea for R*X aswell, it always was a lot of fun. Good aimers didn't always win and if you won vs someone better then you that was really awesome. Just let me know if you would be interrested and maybe i can set something up. Frag you guys on the server

sounds like fun, i was thinking of something like that but calling it a 1v1, best of like 21. In a small map. But then i thought, this would be really boring, its a objective/teamwork game not a frag fest, and we are an objective/teamwork clan. So we would get 5 people who will just demolish everyone else, and one person will be on top always, gee i wonder who that may be, probably the person that made this post.

So yea it may be fun, but I just see 5 people having fun, and rest just getting owned. I would like to be in this dueling contest if you put my up against a tank, i may be able to hit that. But ill try anyways.

i also believe making it in to a ladder with a handicap scheme would even it out but give me soem time and yes good idea

I understand what you are saying dead, Elmo suggested a nice idea. We could make ratings for everyone so good aimers have to beat lesser aimers more often. We could also make a Losers Bracket, so if you lose you can still play and even get into the grand final (you'd have to win twice then).

For everyones info: Elmo already made a server where we can play on so please put a message here if you want to compete! It's just for fun and you might actually get better or win if you're good already

Yes it's probably gonna be on a sunday sometimes soon, i'll keep you guys informed. Also i'll have to think about the rules a bit, and probably a rating system so lesser aimers have a fair chance to advance.

Yes sunday seems to be the best day for these kind of things, if we could get like at least 16 sign ups before the weekend, maybe we could held it this sunday. It's probably not possible to make a suited time for everyone though so i'll have to have a look at that, also need to make some rules, and make ratings for people so everyone has a fair chance of advancing.
