ET Problem

not that i have been playing a lot lately, but at least my et was running when started. not anymore.

My windows says:

don't really knwo the problem or anything but when i google error code c0000005 this showed up: http://www.wiki-errors.com/wiki-errors. ... i=c0000005.

be more specific - you press the ET icon and then what? which OS do you use?

my pc runs windows 8.1 64 bit

first everything is as before:
when i start the programm the system always asks me if the ET.exe should be allowed to make changes in system. i say yes and then console opens for startup process in a small window in middle of screen. then screen gets grey (the grey background of the programm itself i think).

usually after the grey screen i see the intro... but since some weeks its suddenly breaking down to show error message (i posted in beginning). the error message is shown in the resolution of the game.

oh wait!
i just wanted to write: all this happened but i didnt make bigger system relevant changes during that time... but suddenly now i remember, that i removed some installations in a quick action to solve another problem. maybe i deinstalled a ET relevant application?? i should have a look on that!

what are all the programms i need to have installed for beeing able to run ET.exe ...?

also other ideas still very welcome!

if that's the case, maybe try to make a new clean install of ET. save your etkey and any custom cfg you made and copy it to the new installation.
