So… ROX 4 LIFE.
I first played ET back in 2003 when it first came out, reason is all my friends were playing counter strike but i really disliked it. I played all the time as engie with garand in random servers, i was a real tank couldn’t move right, barely could kill anyone. but i did learn the principles of the game so i had lot’s of fun. in 2004 i was conscripted to the army and went afk for 2 years. when i was in the army i had my own garand 🙂 M16 + M-203 grenade launcher for like a year, always made me remember ET…
at 2010 I was looking for a game to pass time and downloaded ET again. i was surprised it looks exactly the same. i started playing in random servers until i accidentally (or not) played in house of rox euro server and got the rox menu downloaded to my et, so i was like “rox it is”. it was simple with no extreme stupid modifications, no idiots shouting “RAMPAGE” or “MULTI KILL” in my headphones, it was the original maps, it was the laugh and the people.
at march 2011 i applied to rox, encouraged to do so by DRAZA. most of the replies to my applications were good, i was playing engie 99% of the time and was really objective oriented. after a while i was accepted and got level 40. i was so excited to be a part of a clan, i played every day, started donating money to keep servers up, been there every time anyone needed. I met Steve and P!ou which were about the same as my level and we went through the ranks together. I was level 40, 50, 60, 80, 90, 150, 235, 500, 800, 900, 1400, 1500, 1800, 1999, 2000 and finally 2001 (later when elmo added 2400 i was promoted to 2400). as for the end of my et time has come, i was promoted by Slime to 3002 (and 3004 @ USA server), and that is probably the end of the road for me.
in time i met LOTS of people from around the world, most i have been friends with, some were dicks and rox members in power trips who thought i was promoted too fast (it only took me 6 years from 40 to 3002…). i still remember a conversation between 2 members about how they hate the new generation of players all noobs, and how they miss old people. in contrast I LOVE EVERY ONE OF YOU, new or old.
all my time in rox i was trying to do my best to help with servers daily running, websites, technological solutions, donations and been there whenever was needed, and also always bugging elmo “hey let’s do this! let’s do that! let’s learn LUA!, let’s learn Visual Basic! let’s add this and that!” I swear there were nights he wanted to chock me. I had huge respect to all rox members, the old and the new, and always sorrow for missing the beginning of rox when i was in the army and few years after that.

Special thanks to DRAZA who recruited me and was there always. a great person, player and friend. he educated me about how this game works, how to have fun of it, and how to get to know people and love them for who they are. even though he is a pink fag who should be deprived of the command !battery.
